Built-in subwoofer
The DHT-S217 is only 6.6cm high and therefore hardly noticeable. This makes it possible to easily place it under your TV or hang it on the wall. According to Denon, the Dolby Atmos effect is “enhanced by improved bass from the dual downward-firing subwoofers and high-quality midrange drivers and tweeters. Listeners can stream their favorite music from a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth with pure, room-filling sound’.
Easy to connect and operate
With the included HDMI cables or optical cables, you connect the DHT-S217 to most televisions effortlessly. In addition, it’s possible to easily control the soundbar’s volume with the television’s remote control. eARC offers video and music with Dolby Atmos streaming through the soundbar from streaming apps installed on the smart TV. With four different sound modes (movie, night, music and pure), the perfect mode is chosen for every occasion. In Pure mode, all surround processing and other adjustments are disabled.
Denon Dialog Enhancer
The Dialog Enhancer function is designed to make dialogs easier to understand using three modes. Useful for movies or TV shows where conversations play an important role. With the Dialog Enhancer, the listener sets the dialogue volume without adjusting the overall program volume. The DHT-S217 will be available from May. The recommended retail price is €269 and it’s available via authorized Denon dealers and on the manufacturer’s website.
