Amazon Watch Party – part of Prime Video – is expanding to a range of other devices. Watching together will be easier than ever.
Watch Party is best known to users of the Amazon Prime Video app and, of course, the Fire TV sticks in various appearances. The downside was that the option – which allows people to watch a movie together – was only available within the Prime Video ecosystem of hardware and software. That has changed. From now on, you can use the feature on, for example, the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and smart TVs. Watch with up to 100 people, and if you wish, chat while watching. The downside is that Watch Party is currently only available in the US. If and when it will be available in our region remains to be seen.
