TP Vision has grabbed no less than four awards with its Philips TV and Sound products at the prestigious 2022/2023 EISA Awards.
TP Vision is taking home no less than four EISA Awards this year. These include three EISA TV Awards and one EISA Audio Award for outstanding quality and innovative technologies. The manufacturer said: ‘Philips Ambilight OLED TVs have been a continuing success with EISA thanks to the combination of outstanding picture and sound quality, innovative technology and exceptional European design. This combination has ensured that Philips Ambilight OLED TVs have once again won awards in 2022. A new model recognized by the experts this year is the Philips Performance Series 8807 Ambilight TV, also known as ‘The One’, thanks to its user-friendliness, high performance and essential features at a charming price’.
Fidelio
In the audio field, too, the innovations surrounding Philips Fidelio have not gone unnoticed. For example, the new Fidelio FB1 soundbar has been awarded an EISA Award in the soundbar category. Martijn Smelt, Chief Marketing Officer of TP Vision, about the awards: “The TP Vision team has invested an enormous amount of time and resources in ensuring that Philips Ambilight TVs and Philips Audio products continue to lead the way in the high-end consumer electronics segment. TP Vision 65OLED937
The EISA jury about the EISA Home Theatre TV 2022-2023 Award for the 65OLED937 (pictured at top): “Sound quality is high on the consumer’s wish list, and Philips TV puts this at the center with the 65OLED+937. The integrated speaker system, designed by Bowers & Wilkins, is the ideal complement to the stunning picture performance of the very bright ‘EX Royal’ OLED panel and the P5 AI Dual Picture Engine with advanced HDR tone mapping. Regarding the award of the 55OLED807 as the EISA Best Buy OLED TV 2022-2023, the jury said the following: “The 55OLED807, Philips TV’s mid-range OLED television, offers performance and specifications that far exceed its affordable price. The smartly designed flat screen combines the latest higher brightness ‘EX’ panel with a new generation of the brand’s advanced P5 image processing engine. Featuring ambient Ambilight illumination and a swivel stand, the screen offers a combination of outstanding black levels, stunning HDR peaks, razor-sharp 4K images and authentic, vibrant colors. A comprehensive range of picture presets is complemented by in-depth picture adjustments, making the 55OLED807 suitable for TV addicts and tech gurus alike. With connections including two HDMI inputs that support 120Hz video and variable refresh rates, the new OLED807 is also great for gaming enthusiasts”.
55PUS8807 aka The One
The EISA judges were most impressed with the 55PUS8807): Also known as ‘The One,’ this Philips 55-inch LCD TV with Ambilight LED lighting provides all-around entertainment for movies, TV and games in your living room while also being competitively priced. ‘The 55PUS8807 is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, targeting console gamers with the new Game Bar feature and HDMI 2.1 connections, while the comprehensive Android TV 11 smart system provides streaming platforms and music on-demand. 4K HDR playback (including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision) is supported by the set’s vivid colors and high brightness, and impresses even in well-lit rooms. What’s more, the TV’s S-IPS panel provides a wide viewing range, so every member of the family can enjoy the show,’ said the proud manufacturer.
Fidelio FB1
The EISA jury praised Philips Fidelio soundbars again, saying of the Fidelio FB1, “The jewel in Philips Fidelio series is the FB1, a feature-packed soundbar that delivers fantastically far-reaching performance from just one box. The FB1’s two built-in subwoofers deliver the power, balance and depth normally expected from an external subwoofer. The separate driver arrays for the LCR channels provide excellent processing of dialogues and effects. 3D audio, whether Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or virtual, comes through the soundbar’s cleverly lit, upward-facing speakers. Overall, the smoothness and articulation of the FB1’s performance and music reproduction are outstanding, making it a soundbar for every occasion”.
Both TP Vision’s 55OLED807 and 55PUS8807 are now on sale across Europe. The 65OLED+937 will be officially launched on August 31. The Philips Fidelio FB1 Soundbar will be available in the Netherlands from November 2022.
