TCL has won a fine Red Dot Award 2023 in the Product Design category, with its TCL S64 Series Home Theatre Soundbar.
TCL is proud to announce that their new TCL S64 Series Home Theatre Soundbar has won the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design 2023. This Red Dot award has been around for more than 60 years. ‘It is a highly renowned international recognition and the benchmark for design excellence. An international jury awards products with outstanding design of high quality with the Red Dot. The TCL S64 Series Home Theatre series, consists of two models in the Netherlands and is designed to fit into any living space,’ the proud manufacturer announced.
Construction and sound of the TCL S64 series
The S643W is a 3.1-channel soundbar that TCL says has ‘impressive sound with the same 70W bass subwoofer for impressive deep sound. The three full-range speakers provide greater sound output and the center speakers enhance the dialogue listening experience.
Also in case of the ingenious 2.1-channel TCL S642W, two surround sound channels and a 60W subwoofer ensure that listeners can enjoy strong bass and unmistakable sound quality, far superior to other standalone soundbars without a subwoofer’.
Smart connectivity
All models in the TCL S64 Home Theatre series feature Dolby Audio – certified enhanced sound reproduction that provides a multi-channel audio experience. DTS Virtual:X is also implemented; it’s an audio codec designed to provide a sense of multidimensional space. This 3D sound effect envelops users so that sound appears to come from above, beside and behind the listener.
Sound scenarios
All TCL S64 Home Theatre soundbars come with six dedicated sound modes suitable for different viewing and listening scenarios. Users can choose from standard, movie, music, sports, speech and game mode for optimal experiences. In addition, the models come with seamless connectivity options for added convenience, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless music and Voice Assistant.
Available this summer
The new soundbars will be available during the summer; suggested retail price for the TCL S643W is €169 and for the S642W €139.
