Perlisten has released the new ‘i’ series of built-in speakers (for in-wall, that is). There are eight models to choose from.
The new Perlisten ‘i’ series is intended for high-end home theater sound. Apart from undoubtedly good sound quality, it also means a somewhat higher price tag. Whereby there is a distinction between the highest price class containing THX-Dominos-certified speakers and the ‘simpler’ R versions. The former are preceded by the letter S, or, for example, the S7i and the somewhat more compact S4i plus the S4iLCRS. The S variants include 28 mm beryllium tweeters, TPCD midrange drivers in a DPC array and 18 cm bass drivers.
More sharply priced R variants
Then there is the series preceded by the letter R, consisting of the R5iLR (left and right), the center speaker R5i-C and the surround speaker Rri-LCRS. The drivers used are just a bit simpler than the versions mentioned above, which is reflected in a lower price. As with the S variants, the installation depth is 10 cm. All variants can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
The S-i series consists of the following speakers:
- S7i-LR: €14990 per pair
- S7i-C: €7495 each
- S5i-LR: €12990 per pair
- S5i-C: €6495 each
- S4i-LCRS: €7990 per pair
And the R-i series consists of the following trio:
- R5i-LR: €5990 per pair
- R5i-C: €2995 each
- R4i-LCRS: €4990 per pair
