Now that the Covid figures show an upward and more permanent improvement, Utrecht-based music center Tivoli Vredenburg is starting to show off some nice events again.
Tivoli Vredenburg’s My First Festival is always one big party. Children can get to know all kinds of music in a very fun way. From classical through jazz to pop, funk and much more. This is interspersed with workshops and other activities. Normally My First Festival is held throughout the spacious premises of the Utrecht music center. Flutter freely like a butterfly from hall to hall, performance to performance.
Vredenburg Utrecht – and rightly so – is just a bit too big for that. That’s why this year on Sunday 18 July a kind of ‘Light’ version is on the programme. We read in the distributed newsletter:
‘During this Walk the Line: My First Festival, you walk through TivoliVredenburg, from performance to performance. Previously, during My First Festival, we transformed our entire building into a musical playground for children. Now we’re organizing a mini version with Walk the Line: My First Festival. Walk through our building and discover the best and craziest performances for the whole family. Tickets are available here.
Unforgettable experience
We read further: ‘During this Walk the Line: Sunday 18 July you will enjoy in one tour the interplay and singing of duo Clean Pete, Brazilian swing of Trio MPB, and the beautiful songs of Kenny B.’. We know from our own experience that this can be a fun and unforgettable experience for children.
