The new JBL LIVE 300TWS truly wireless in-ears are armed with smart assistants Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa. Might come in handy, sometimes.
Whether you like virtual smart assistants or not, at least in the JBL LIVE 300TWS they’re ready to answer all your questions and do other stuff. More importantly, these new in-ears are truly wireless. So no sneaky neckbands or other cables.
Another practical feature is the ‘ambient aware’ option, which allows you to hear ambient noises with the caps plugged in. TalkThru goes a step further, allowing you to talk to others without removing the in-ears. At first glance this may seem a bit antisocial, but when you remove the caps and put them down somewhere for a while, you run the greatest risk of losing them. So leave them in place for a while.
Six hours playing time
The in-ears are equipped with the characteristic ‘JBL sound’ and offer the possibility of hands-free communication. They are also splash-proof and water-resistant, so you don’t have to worry about a bad shower. The LIVE 300TWS plays for 6 hours on a full battery charge. Via the included storage pouch and power pack it is possible to recharge on the go without a power outlet nearby. In total – provided the case is also fully charged before departure – you achieve a mobile playing time of 20 hours.
According to JBL, recharging a completely empty in-ear battery takes less than 2 hours. The caps are immediately available in a black version for an amount of €149. Soon there will also be a blue and white version.
