Sennheiser HD 560S headphones

The new Sennheiser HD 560S is an open back headphone, equipped with a solid ‘old-fashioned’ cable connection.

The frequency range of the new Sennheiser HD 560S runs from 6 Hz to 38 kHz, reproducing the spectrum in a completely linear manner. The high sensitivity of 110 dB (1KHz/ 1 V RMS) is coupled with a very low distortion of less than 0.05% at 90 dB. This should provide distinct dynamics and clarity even at high volumes. Incidentally, Sennheiser considers the HD 560S to be an entry-level model for music lovers. This is also reflected in the price, because you pay only €199 for these advanced headphones.

Cool ears

According to the manufacturer, the Sennheiser HD 560S is ideal for long, extended listening sessions. The all-inclusive velour cushions not only provide a natural sound, but also keep your ears nice and cool.

The headphone’s voice coil has been designed so that the drivers must guarantee good sound independent of the source. It also means that this Sennheiser – with an impedance of 120 Ohm – can actually be driven by virtually any source. Included is a detachable cable with 6.3 mm jack, and a 15 cm flexible 3.5 mm adapter. A fairly affordable headphone for better musical enjoyment. Keep in mind that these are – again – open headphones, which makes them less suitable (at least less social …) for use on the road, for example in the train.
