The new RHA TrueControl ANC in-ear features everything you would expect from an in-ear, including active noise reduction (ANC). The time that you had to walk around with annoying neckbands to enjoy wireless in-ear sound is almost behind us. Almost every self-respecting manufacturer now has truly wireless in-ears in their assortment. For example, this brand new TrueControl ANC from RHA. Armed with adjustable active noise cancelling, you can enjoy your music in peace, always nice. Seven pairs of silicone and three ‘Comply-Foam’ fittings are included to ensure a good seal between caps and ear canal.
aptX and AAC
ANC is fine, but if you still want to let some ambient noise through, the TrueContol ANC from RHA offers that option, too. You can adjust the level of “permeation” to your liking. Hold the left cap for a moment and the Quick-Aware mode will be activated. At that point, you will stop playing music or other content and you will hear everything that is happening around you. Release the cap, and everything is back to its (musical) original state.
The Bluetooth 5.0 capable novice from RHA supports both aptX and AAC. Through a corresponding app you get access to an equalizer. Also, the app – so the manufacturer promises – helps you in the search for lost caps. Originally, the RHA TrueControl ANC offers 5 hours of playing time on a fully charged battery. The supplied case extends that playing time to 15 hours. The case contains a battery, which you can use on the way to refuel without a power outlet (provided that you have not forgotten to charge the case battery). Charging is via USB-C or wireless inductive. You pay for these in-ears an amount of €299.95; available from December 14 this year and therefore on time for the holidays.
