The Shure Aonic 50 Bluetooth headphones have been enhanced with some extra colors, always nice for the more fashion-conscious music connoisseur. The Shure Aonic 50 Bluetooth headset was announced earlier this year. It is a wireless headset that also has ANC (active noise cancelling) on board.
Originally the Aonic 50 was only available in black and brown, now a white-beige version is added. Nothing has changed in terms of functionality. The ANC can be switched back a step, which still allows ambient noise to enter, for example. Useful for traffic or other activities that still require some interaction with the outside world. When fully charged, the Shure Aonic 50’s battery lasts up to 20 hours of playing time. And it’s no tragedy if that battery runs out on the way: the headphones also work when wired.
Many Bluetooth codecs
The Aonic 50 is operated using touch keys. For example, answer a hands-free call, adjust the volume, or pause a track being played. The wide range of Bluetooth codecs supported by this Shure is particularly pleasing: aptX low latency, aptX HD, Sony LDAC, AAC, and the time-honored SBC.
A free app allows you to fine-tune your headphones. This way you can save user settings for ANC. You will also find an equalizer and a music player in the app.
