With the new HD 250BT, Sennheiser has released a surprisingly affordable and versatile wireless headphone, good for hours of listening pleasure.
Sennheiser’s (for Europe) new HD 250 BT has so much high(er) end hardware on board than the the price tag suggests. More about that later. The HD 250 BT has a built-in battery that is good for 25 hours of playing time on a full charge.
Furthermore, both the AAC and aptX codec are supported, while aptX Low Latency is also supported. This is especially good news for movie lovers: image and sound are perfectly synchronized. Thanks to AAC, owners of Apple devices are also at their beck and call.
Bluetooth 5.0
In terms of design, the Sennheiser Bluetooth 5.0 HD 250 BT appears minimalist, superfluous bling is missing. And there’s nothing wrong with that, of course.
What makes these headphones really special is their price. You only have to pay €69 for it. And that’s very little for a device with the mentioned features on board. It seems to us an ideal headphone for on the road, where you need to be a little less careful than a copy of an end over €150.
It is a pity that ANC is missing, but it really could not have been done for this price. But let’s be honest: we as humanity have functioned without noise suppression for decades, so… ah well…
