British company Naim Audio introduces the Uniti Headphone Edition, an – as the name naturally suggests – all-in-one music player optimized for headphones.

Naim also applies a new toroidal transformer in the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, fully dedicated to providing – in the well-known Naim tradition – the best power supply for the headphone amplification circuit. The newly designed discrete audio circuit provides access to a balanced headphone output, both on 4-pin XLR and Pentaconn to give you the best sound experience with headphones that have these connections.

Particularly noteworthy, according to Latham, is further “that Uniti Atom Headphone Edition can also be used as a streaming preamplifier and can drive active speakers – or with a separate power amplifier – passive speakers with it.
