Yamaha has released the new YH-L700A, a wireless Bluetooth headphone featuring active noise cancellation and surround DSP.
The Yamaha YH-L700A is the new flagship in terms of headphones from this manufacturer. The ‘Advanced Active Noise Cancelling System’ should ensure that you can listen to music or anything else in peace. For example, in a noisy train or with aircraft noise in the background. To achieve this, even the current air pressure in your ear canals is measured, which should lead to highly effective noise reduction. You can switch to ambient mode at the push of a button, which lets in ambient sounds and allows you to talk to others without taking the headphones off.
Hearing protection
Special is the Cinema DSP Processing, which according to Yamaha realizes a three-dimensional binaural sound. Distilled from the two channels that are ultimately offered to the headphones, that is. Then there’s the four-band fully automatic equalizer that has the Listening Care System under its belt.
This should ensure that sound levels never get too high and thus protect your hearing. But according to the manufacturer, in such a way that the perceived sound intensity suffers. The Yamaha YH-L700A features 40 mm drivers and a frequency range of 8 Hz to 40 kHz. Both aptX Adaptive, SBC and AAC are supported. Through the free app Yamaha Headphones Controller you can fine tune the headphones if desired. The new Yamaha is available from August this year, for a price of €549.
