The new Beats Fit Pro truly wireless in-ears have head tracking on board, which makes the sound follow your head position.
The most recent form of “immersive” sound is the version where the sound follows your head movements. This technique is supposed to provide a very realistic surround experience. Apple’s home-grown earbuds support this trick, for example. But the new Beats Fit Pro in-ears don’t shy away from it either. They look like the Beats Studio Buds, but with added ear hooks. Ideal, because it’ll probably keep them in place a lot better. Also in case of more “difficult” shaped ears.
Apple H1 chip
We already mentioned Apple. For obvious reasons actually, because hidden within the Beats Fit Pro you’ll find the H1 chip from this manufacturer. It’s the same chip as used in the AirPods 3. The H1 enables things like one-touch pairing, a fitting test to find out which ear piece provides the best sound, Find My… functionality and more. For the rest, in the new Beats you will find a custom-made driver. Including an aperture that should ensure minimal distortion of the high frequencies. Beats also implemented ANC, including a transparent mode that allows you to reconnect with the outside world with the tap of a finger. And of course there is the already mentioned support for Apple spatial sound including head tracking. When fully charged, and with ANC enabled, you get a play time of up to six hours. Thanks to the included charging case with its own battery, you can listen off grid for up to 27 hours in total (with ANC on).
The in-ears cost $199.99, available in the colors Stone Purple, Sage Grey, black and white.
