German Grell – founded by sound engineer and headphone designer Axel Grell has released the truly wireless TWS/1 in-ear.
Within the new TWS/1 in-ear you will find three decades of experience from Axel Grell. Interestingly, the philosophy of his company is that high-end quality is offered in their hardware, but the corresponding high-end price tag is missing. In short: this in-ear is also relatively affordable: you’ll pay €199.99 for it. For that price you get a versatile set of truly wireless in-ears, with a decent playing time of 6 hours on a full charge. On the road, you can get up to 28 hours of unplugged use via its charging case. And that’s with the also available ANC activated. Furthermore, Axel Grell Noise Annoyance Reduction (NAR) is provided for even more peace of mind.
Built-in Equalizer
The SoundID’s Advanced Parametric EQ present in the Grell TWS/1 allows the sound to be fully adjusted to one’s preferences. This under the motto ‘away with one fits all’. The frequency range of the in-ear runs from 6 Hz to 22 kHz. Bluetooth 5.2 is used for wireless, supporting a range of codecs: AAC, aptX, aptX HD, ptX adaptive, LHDC and the baseline SBC. A distance of up to 50 meters between source and in-ears is possible. Last but not least: the in-ears are splash resistant according to the IPX4 standard.
