Canadian PSB released the M4U 8 MKII headphones, equipped with ANC and support for aptX HD.
The new PSB M4U 8 MKII is the manufacturers flagship in the category headphones. A special feature of them is Audiodo, with this the sound of the cans can be personalized. A much needed feature according to PSB, because ‘everyone hears differently’. Together with RoomFeel – a technology developed by the manufacturer which should give the feeling of listening to speakers – an impressive listening experience should be the result.
Listening via cable (including USB C)
Purists who want to listen wireless, can count on the Bluetooth codec aptX HD. This allows a wireless streaming quality with up to 24 bit resolution. Prefer uncompromising wired listening? No problem, a 3.5 mm input connector is available on each side of the cans. Indeed on both sides, choose what’s most comfortable for you. Listening via USB-C is an option too, for example connect the PSB M4U 8 MKII to a computer. Pleasant side effect in that case is, that the headphones are charged at the same time. A fully charged battery provides a playing time of about 18 hours with ANC switched on, 25 hours without. The PSB M4U 8 MKII costs €499. Available from this month, pre-order are already possible.
