Shure has released the new Aonic Free in-ears, truly wireless and featuring a neat play time on a full charge.
The new Shure Aonic Free true wireless in-ears feature, among other things, sound isolation techniques copied from the brand’s professional in-ears. According to Shure this should lead to a reduction of 37 dB in ambient noise. Microphones in the earpieces can, if desired, pass a bit ambient sound through to maintain contact with the outside world. Or temporarily restore it completely. A tap on one of the earpieces controls volume, playback and call control. You can also use the ShurePlus Play app for that, available for both iOS and Android. The app doubles as a music player for standard and hi-res music files. Also a multiband equalizer is available plus presets and voice notifications for things like low battery, connection confirmation and so on.
7 hours playing time
A fully charged battery provides seven hours of play time. If you want to go longer off-grid with the Shure Aonic Free, a charging carrying case with its own battery is included. This allows you to refuel twice while on the road, bringing the total autonomous playing time to 21 hours. For all this awe, you’ll pay $199. S, M and L ear pieces plus a USB-C charging cable are included.
