The new Free Byrd from Beyerdynamic is the first truly wireless in-ear from this manufacturer. What immediately stands out is the long playing time on a full battery charge: 8 hours with ANC switched on. Thanks to the included charging case, you can listen for 24 hours in total without being near to a wall socket. Without ANC, that’s 11 hours and 30 hours in total. Very practical is, that Beyerdynamic’s new in-ears can handle both AAC and aptX Adaptive. This serves both the Android ecosystem and everything from Apple. IPX4 moisture resistance means you can use the FreeByrds in the rain, too. Via an accompanying app, you can have your ears measured and then have a sound profile adjusted completely to your hearing.
