Meze Audio will release a new dynamic open headphone next fall in the form of the 109 Pro.
The 109 Pro is the brand’s first dynamic open headphones, and they made their debut at the recent CanJam in London. The chambers of the headphones are made of walnut wood, while materials such as manganese steel and zinc are used too. The whole is assembled using nuts and bolts. With a little luck, that should lead to a very high degree of serviceability. According to Meze Audio, the finish is of the same high quality as that of the Empyrean and Elite, but at an even lower price. However, that price is not yet known at the time of writing… Available from October this year though!
