SIVGA is a subsidiary of Chinese Sendy Audio and it they released their new open SV023 headphones.
There is a (relatively small) number of Chinese companies that manufacture high-end audio. Headphones in particular could be an interesting – because often affordable – target for an audiophile on a limited budget. SIVGA is one such manufacturer and is known for the real wood finish of their headphones. This is also the case with the new SV023, an open dynamic type equipped with a 50mm driver. The headphones were designed in-house and despite the large drivers (which often add weight), the over-ear SIVGA weighs only 318 grams. The frequency range of the walnut veneer-clad SV023 runs from 20 Hz to 40 kHz at a sensitivity of 105 dB and an impedance of 300 ohms. The soft ear pads feature air holes that according to the manufacturer should provide both improved sound quality and increased comfort.
Balanced
Included is a braided 2-meter-long 4.4mm balanced cable based on 6N OCC conductors. Furthermore, a 4.4mm balanced to 6.35mm unbalanced adapter is also provided, creating a universally usable unit. The SIVGA SV023 costs $449, available through Amazon and AliExpress, among others.
