Erzetich has released the new Charybdis, a magnetostatic headphone that instantly became the brand’s new flagship.
The Erzetich Charybdis headphones use magnetostatic full range drivers. This technique is really only found in the better high-end headphones. The drivers are placed in CNC-machined aluminum ear cups, whereby velvet ear pads combined with a carbon fiber carrying strap guarantee excellent comfort. The impedance of the Charybdis is 43 Ohms, which means they can be effortlessly driven by mobile devices. The connecting cable is symmetrical; via a supplied adapter, “traditional” asymmetrical operation is also possible. The price of these headphones is €3000.
