It took a while, but Revo has released a refreshed version of its SuperConnect (Internet) radio.
The Revo SuperConnect in stereo version is a versatile tabletop radio. First, there is the built-in web radio module that gives access to more than 36,000 web radio stations from all over the world. If you prefer some more traditional, local and offline listening, both a DAB, DAB+ and FM tuner are provided too. Two 3.5-inch balanced mode radiator (BMR) drivers should provide a wide soundstage and a wide sweet spot, according to the manufacturer. The drivers are driven by a 30-watt Class D amplifier. In turn, an in-house equalizer should guarantee a warm, open sound, clear with lots of detail and deep bass.
Connect it
External equipment is easily connected via a digital optical input, analog AUX input, a set of RCA inputs or go for wireless Bluetooth. Listening through headphones can be done through the dedicated output. Then again, the little radio is not exactly cheap, you pay $649 for it.
