Sennheiser’s “600 series” of headphones is intended for audiophiles; the new HD660S2 should fit in seamlessly.
According to the manufacturer, when developing the new Sennheiser HD 660S2 open headphones, it listened carefully to customers who used HD 660S. This led to the ‘S2’ which should bring improvements in bass, dynamics and detail. One of the things to achieve these goals was to address the airflow around the 38 mm driver, as well as using a new aluminum voice coil. The impedance of the HD 660S2 is 300 ohms. Plush ear pads, a sleek black finish and included carrying case plus an included balanced as well as an unbalanced cable complete the package. The new Sennheiser is available for pre-order now, the price is €599.
