The new LG TONE free wireless earbuds with pure graphene – according to the manufacturer – guarantee ‘exceptional sound’.
LG Electronics introduces the TONE Free T90S model of wireless earbuds, specially designed ‘to provide exceptional sound quality for an optimal listening experience. The new T90S earbuds are greatly enhanced by being made of pure graphene. In addition, they have a very comfortable fit and a number of convenient features that ensure optimal listening experience,’ the manufacturer announced.
Pure graphene
The LG TONE free T90S earbuds offer ‘an enriched audio experience with greatly improved accuracy and clarity,’ according to the maker: ’They use pure graphene for the drivers, as opposed to using coated graphene in conventional earbuds. This extremely lightweight and durable material is known for its outstanding performance and efficiency in the application of advanced technologies, such as semiconductors and solar cells. The use of pure graphene in LG’s latest earbuds reduces vibration. In addition, users can enjoy balanced sound with powerful bass and enhanced mid and high frequencies. The T90S earbuds are designed to take full advantage of graphene’s light weight and provide a comfortable fit that allows for prolonged listening’.
Dolby Atmos with Head Tracking
Interestingly, LG’s T90 TONE Free series offer the ultimate (well, according to the manufacturer, you have to try it out for yourself of course) “surround sound” experience. They are the first Dolby Atmos earbuds to support Dolby Head Tracking for all content and devices. Dolby Head Tracking technology adjusts audio based on head movements, creating a dynamic feel that puts listeners at the center. Whether listening to music, watching a movie or series or immersing yourself in the action of a video game, the high-quality sound should ensure maximum listening experience on smartphones, tablets or large-screen TVs.
As a new feature, the T90S earbuds support Dolby Head Tracking technology for up to 24bit/96kHz audio. The earbuds also offer additional versatility with Dolby Atmos Optimizer, featuring optimized surround sound based on three adjustable levels that can be tailored to users’ preferences.
Collaboration with Meridian Audio
LG partnered with Meridian Audio to further boost sound quality. One of the results is the Meridian Headphone Spatial Processing (HSP). This is a technology designed to deliver a clear center image so that as a listener you feel like you are listening to a regular stereo sound system. In addition to natural, distortion-free sound, Meridian’s Perfect Balance technology should ensure that T90S users experience consistent tonal balance regardless of volume.
Hygienic
Thanks to LG’s UVnano charging cover, a high level of hygiene should also be achieved. For this purpose, ultraviolet light is used to effectively eliminate 99.9 percent of bacteria on the eargels1. ‘T90S earbuds use medical grade hypoallergenic eargels that absorb dust and prevent dirt from accumulating, effectively reducing skin irritation,’ LG said.
Charging case as Bluetooth transmitter
The LG TONE free LG T90S further offers extensive connectivity options and optimizes Plug & Wireless functionality. With the included USB-C to AUX and USB-C to USB C cables, you can use the T90S charger as a transmitter. This allows you to achieve Bluetooth connectivity between the earbuds and non-Bluetooth devices in no time. Examples include in-flight entertainment systems, treadmills at the gym and hotel TVs. In addition to supporting Bluetooth codecs AAC and SBC for seamless connectivity with Apple and Android devices, the T90S is compatible with the aptX Adaptive codec. The LG TONE Free app lets you pair up to five external devices.
The T90S will be available exclusively through LG’s own web store starting this June.
