In such cases, the new Fiio K11 R2R is undoubtedly useful. The DAC in this device is an R2R type. The headphone amplifier is 4-channel and fully differential. According to the manufacturer, this setup ensures less noise compared to traditionally designed headphone amplifier circuits.
Choose Between Oversampling or Non-Oversampling
The DAC in the Fiio K11 R2R delivers quality up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256. In terms of inputs, you have the choice of USB-C, coaxial, and optical inputs. For outputs, there is a set of RCA jacks. Plus, of course, headphone connections: 6.35 mm unbalanced and 4.4 mm balanced. Interestingly, you can choose between non-oversampling and oversampling modes. In short, it’s a very nice device that can be a great companion to a laptop at your workspace.
The price of the Fiio K11 R2R is also very attractive: $169. So, there’s no reason to pass on this one.
