JBL has launched five new junior headphones specially designed for young listeners. These headphones not only feature the next generation of JBL Safe Sound but also offer adjustable limits for volume and playtime, activity tracking, and a personalized countdown. According to the manufacturer, kids can now safely and enjoyably experience JBL sound with the wireless JBL Junior 470NC and Junior 320BT.
“Children’s hearing health is at the forefront of the new JBL Junior range. With new innovations in parental app controls, JBL Safe Sound goes beyond a simple 85 dB volume limit. The new junior headphones, available in five vibrant colors, feature larger, kid-friendly controls. They combine clear, safe sound with comfort and all-day durability,” says JBL.
Safe Sound for Kids, Approved by Parents
The JBL Junior 470NC and 320BT offer extra parental control via the JBL Headphones app. Parents can set the maximum volume and listening time for the headphones. With ‘time-up’ reminders, parents can even record their own voice for quick notifications to their children.
JBL states: “Tracking listening time has never been easier. With just one tap in the app, parents get real-time insights into their child’s volume and listening time, as well as daily or weekly reports on sound levels and exposure times to maintain safe listening habits.”
Children can enjoy JBL Safe Sound without compromising on quality. The Active Noise Cancelling in the Junior 470NC creates a sound bubble, blocking out distracting noises so children can enjoy music and videos at an even lower volume.

Both the Junior 320BT and Junior 470NC offer up to 50 hours of battery life, making them ideal for long car rides or flights. Thanks to the multi-point connection, users can switch effortlessly between multiple Bluetooth devices.

Both the Junior 470NC and 320BT come with a cable for added flexibility in case the battery runs out. There is also a wired version of the Junior 320*, which has a built-in maximum volume limit of 85 dB—the optimal safe sound level for kids.
