The new TEAC HA-507 is not only a fully analog headphone amplifier but also a preamplifier.

Of course, the main task of the TEAC HA-507 is to function as a headphone amplifier. However, if desired, the device can also be used as a preamplifier. Inside, you’ll find an array of TEAC’s premium audio technologies. As mentioned, the entire setup is fully analog, featuring balanced and dual-mono configurations. The HA-507 also houses two separate power supplies: one for the audio circuit and another for its control. According to the manufacturer, the headphone amplifier delivers exceptionally high output power combined with a very wide frequency range and low distortion. There are a total of four headphone outputs to choose from: two balanced (XLR and 4.4 mm Pentaconn) and two unbalanced (6.3 mm and 3.5 mm).

When using the TEAC HA-507 as a preamplifier, the manufacturer promises precise volume control that adjusts in 0.25 dB increments. Various RCA and XLR inputs and outputs are available. The device is priced at €1899.
