Technics is celebrating its 60th anniversary in style, pulling out all the stops for its new flagship in-ear headphones, the Technics AZ100.
At this year’s CES, Technics kicked off its anniversary celebrations with the launch of the AZ100, the brand’s latest top-tier in-ear headphones. Compared to its predecessor, the AZ80, the Technics AZ100 introduces several enhancements and innovations. These earbuds are smaller and lighter—always a welcome improvement for in-ear devices.
As expected, the AZ100 features active noise cancellation (ANC) that adjusts automatically based on the noise level of your environment. Additionally, Voice Focus AI, combined with three microphones per earbud, ensures crystal-clear, noise-free calls.
Cutting-Edge Features: Auracast, Dolby Atmos, and More
Under the hood, the AZ100 employs Technics’ new Magnetic Fluid Driver technology, which delivers lower distortion levels and richer bass. Each earbud is equipped with 10 mm ultra-thin free edge drivers to achieve high-quality sound.
Other standout features include support for Dolby Atmos with dynamic head tracking, the LDAC codec, and Auracast. The AZ100 offers 10 hours of playback on a single charge, with up to 28 hours of total listening time when using the included charging case.
