The Test System

We tested the Audel U-Basik 5/8 on two systems, the reference system and the smaller system with the Hypex DIY pre-amp and Nilai power amplifier. The Volumio Motivo is part of that system. In the end, that match was better than the reference system. Partly due to the size of the room: the second system is just in our work-room which is around 20m2.
We did mixing and matching with this Audel. It’s a very transparent speaker that shows a lot and also has a lot of potential, it quickly turns out. So don’t let the size and price fool you: this is a critical little speaker that lets you hear what your system is doing!
