The set-up

We connected the compact Acelec Model One to our reference system and to a smaller system in the typing room. The reference set consists of:
- Pass Labs XP12
- Bryston 4B SST3
- Metrum Acoustics Pavane dac
- Metrum Acoustics Ambre ROON bridge
- Isotek Titan filter for Bryston
- Kemp Electronics Powerstrip 8 Plus
- Cables from Audioquest and Grimm
The small set consists of:
- Hegel Röst
- Alpha Audio ‘ROON PC’ with Roon bridge software
In both systems this compact monitor feels perfectly at home. That already indicates that there is no need for a nuclear power plant to power it.
