Yeah… what can we say about this? Response is neat. As the specs also say: it’s very, very neutral. Distortion is very low. From 45 Hz and further, it’s below 1 percent. To be precise: from there straight down towards 0.06% at 350 Hz. After that it rises a bit towards 0.17 to 0.2%. All in all, incredibly neat, class leading results.
Off-axis response is, as can be expected, less than with a dome tweeter. The previous speaker we measured – the Revel M126be – performs a lot better off axis. But it doesn’t perform as well with the distortion measurements.
