We listened to both components first separately and then in combination. This was always done through the balanced inputs and outputs. The XLR cable used is from Ricable’s Magnus series. Balanced sounded a lot better especially with the 9000P. With the 9000Q, we noticed no clear differences between balanced and single-ended.
