The Powerquest 3 is very attractively priced and, as far as we’re concerned, a no-brainer. It is an outright bargain. Although the difference in our particular situation remained relatively limited, this power filter is extremely versatile and ensures that your valuable devices are protected. Anyone still using a regular power strip can do no wrong with a Powerquest
We certainly think the price of the Monsoon is also correct. This cable is very nicely made and delivers an audible step. It is stiff though, a characteristic of almost all Audioquest cables. The Audioquest Monsoon power cable delivered a clearly audible step on the Morpheus.
The Diamond digital cables aren’t cheap apiece but they delivered the biggest step. They brought the whole set even more to life. Still, we find the price a bit on the high side.
The analog Water cables are nicely made cables at an attainable price. Whether they will fit into your set we cannot say but they will temper a punchy system just that bit. The Water cables do not so much improve as change. A subtle change and so it will be important to listen to whether they tilt the reproduction of your set in the desired direction. The dots on the i so to speak.
