We included the Bluesound NODE in our reference system and put it next to the old Node 2i. This allows for a direct comparison. We connected them both at the same time to:
- Pass Labs XP-12
- Bryston 4B SST3
- Focal Sopra No1
- Driade Flow speaker cable
- Audioquest power cables
- Grimm TPM interlinks
We paired the Bluesound NODE and Node 2i in one zone for direct switching. We used the BluOS software for that. So no ROON. This is to keep ROON out of the equation to avoid any sound differences.
