Conclusion

The Burson Conductor V3 makes every headphone sound good. So good that it's actually not suitable as a test instrument because it doesn't expose the weak points of headphones, but compensates them so they do what they're supposed to do; convey music and emotion. What a wonderful experience it is to have this Burson Conductor as a musical midfielder in our audio system. As a headphone amplifier, as a DAC and yes: also as a bluetooth streamer, the Conductor V3 performs at the highest level. We can even say that we have never heard so little difference between bluetooth and non-bluetooth. The Burson puts a fine warm sound field around us. Also as a preamplifier, the Conductor V3 is a powerful and musical maestro. And probably the only high end pre-/headphone amp for gamers because it has a microphone input. For the asking price a product this complete and so high performing can only be rewarded with five stars and an Alpha Approved!
