Conclusion

With the Dion Audio AB300 power amplifier, Miquel Blaauw did it again. This time in a league where competition is fierce and brands with reputation dominate the market. With this high end amplifier Dion Audio shows good to be able to come along with 'the big brands' at a very competitive price.

During the review period we worked with the AB300 in very different configurations and always noticed how powerful and adaptive the amplifier was. Not only with 'power hungry' speakers but also with small nearfield monitors that need a modest amplifier. Knowing that an amplifier regulates the cooperation between audio signal and speaker with all the issues involved, we can conclude that the Dion Audio AB300 more than succeeds in this.
