On the Focals it sounds good, but a bit distant and sometimes a bit bright in the higher regions. The beryllium tweeters can become too dominant in combination with some amplifiers.
Fortunately, we have some alternatives in ‘da house’. We connect the Piega Premium 501 from the multitest floorstanders around 4,000 euros to the Gato amplifier. In terms of design also a nice match, these slim floorstanders with the Gato’s.
