JBL 4312G Ghost Edition (3)

Because we’re dealing with a serious woofer, placement is even more important than usual. In our normal spot, where most monitors perform optimally, the JBL didn’t quite come into its own. In our space, we found the bass sounded a bit tighter when we placed them a bit closer to the wall. Of course, that means we also moved our listening chair a bit closer to maintain our magic triangle of 2.20 meters per side. We turned the JBL 4312G GE in a little more than usual which means not along the ears but really facing the ears. We left the fronts on for the listening test.
