The Nothing Ear (1) is definitely a strong candidate in the 100 euro class. In fact, we estimate that it is one of the top performers. In any case, it’s better than we’ve had in our hands. It is a lot more comfortable and plays a lot better than the Teufels for example. The Sony WF-1000-M4 are a lot more expensive. But then again, they are more beautifully made and perform simply better. But you also pay more than double. All in all, this is definitely a must if you are looking for a pair of fine, well-performing in-ears that will not immediately empty your bank account.

Conclusion

As a newcomer, Nothing immediately puts out a strong product. Very clever. They indicate that they want to compete with the Apple Airpods. In our opinion, they can do this very well, although we estimate that Apple enthusiasts will just immediately reach for the Apple in-ears. Purely because it's from Apple. There you go guessing we won't be snatching much from them. But to compete with the rest of the market ... that should definitely succeed. Interesting and pleasant product!
