Magical Music?
Contents
Is the sound magic too? We are testing the E11BT with some of our favorite lists on Spotify. We’re not dissatisfied at first. The tips from the in-ears sit well in the ear canal and close almost seamlessly. We hardly hear anything from the outside world.
The tire is in the neck and that’s fine too. We do notice that after listening for a long time the presence of the band remains. This isn’t exactly something negative or bad. More of an observation.
Listening to Phil Collins – in the air tonight – all the elements fall into place. There is a good balance in the facets of the music. Sound bass, comfort… and soundstage. Yes: the Soundmagic E11BT provides a good soundstage for an in-ear bluetooth.
We’ll switch to some techno and house music. For this we use Soundcloud and listen to a broadcast of the Boomroom. Here, too, the E11BT feels like a fish in the water. The low tones are set well, to give the middle and high tones a stage when asked for. Our note of musical balance is reaffirmed.
We notice that the sound is still a bit loose during the many hours of listening.
To test the versatility of the E11BT, we take the laptop and put a movie on Netflix. Our choice has become the last Bladerunner film. Also for media entertainment, the E11BT produces a very good sound image. The scenes with action are shown full of dynamics, just as we like to hear it.
The Soundmagic E11BT delivers great sound for the money, but there’s only one. This is really a very small one. The Soundmagic E11BT misses just that half-point for a 10. It’s just not magic. But it’s so close…
Daily use
We were able to enjoy the Soundmagic E11BT for a good two weeks. That’s exactly how we experienced it. It was a pleasure to listen to music with the Soundmagic. But we also called, watched movies and tried to play sports with it.
This is a doubt area. Cycling is fine, but as soon as the movements get bigger and heavier, the neckband is less pleasant. The neckband sits comfortably and easily with normal use. Having said that, the presence doesn’t disappear. That has to do with the weight.
Probably with longer daily use we too would get used to it. Advantage of this is the extremely long battery. During the test we charged the Soundmagic E11BT once. We listened to music between 20 and 30 hours and made some more phone calls. And the battery is still not empty.
Final verdict
The SoundMagic E11BT is a very good bluetooth in-ear. For less than 80 euros the E11BT can be ordered through the webshop of Soundmagic. The musical balance is very good and the E11BT is also very suitable for entertainment.
We have nothing to do with the quality of the music playback. The neckband provides a very good battery duration, but brings a little more weight with it. If we add all the points together, it’s just a very good bluetooth in-ear for a normal price.
