Xavian Corallo Esclusivo

We initially placed the Xavian Corallo Esclusivo (what a complicated name) in the same place where most speakers perform well but it doesn’t go so well this time. Just like with my also closed ATCs the bass comes through insufficiently. By moving around a bit we eventually end up closer (30 cm) to the wall. Now everything is nicely in balance although this speaker will obviously not fill a concert hall. That’s why we also placed the speakers in our other room for a while to get a full picture of their capabilities. We also tried them out in a near-field setup and that too went very well.

The test system:

Cabling

  • Ricable Magnus (analog, digital, power)
  • Ricable invictus (Speaker)
  • Custom ethernet cable
