Jeez: how good this Xavian measures! Incredibly neutral. And you can hear that. As written before: he sounds very honest. In balance. And we see that again. Distortion is low. Off axis the bass measures even better than on-axis. How that is possible, we can’t really explain. But it is reproducible. Considering the fact that we listen ‘off-axis’, that is fine of course.

In the deepest bass we see a few percent distortion, but that goes below 1% at about 50Hz which is very acceptable for a speaker of this size. Nice work Xavian!

Conclusion

The Xavian Premio Esclusivo is one of those speakers you don't immediately think of in the price range around 5000 euros. Then everyone tends directly to the 'big boys'. Think of Bowers, DALI, Monitor Audio, KEF, Dynaudio. And yes: they all have great products. But so does Xavian! Because boy: what a musical little box this is! Refined, fluent, quiet... in balance. And it can easily be combined with an 'affordable' amplifier. The Yamaha A-S2200 matches perfectly with this Italian Czech. To top it off: it is not difficult to place it. Alpha Approved!
