Measurements and conclusion

Contents

We measured the Simgot King Wonder with our MiniDSP E.A.R.S and REW. As headphone amplifier we used a Sony PHA3 usb-dac with built-in battery power.

Measurements Simgot King Wonder in-ear

By itself, the Simgot does not measure badly at all. The response is stable and from 50 Hz onward, distortion dives below 1%. The deep bass does have some issues with distortion to above 10%. A high-end in-ear (Sennheiser ie900 for example) really handles that better. But well: different price range.

Conclusion

The Simgot King Wonder is a bit of a wacky product to test. You see, these in-ears can only be bought online. And then only via the US Amazon... That is quite a risk. Those who dare get an in-ear that does not perform badly at all will buy a decent performing in-ear. Is it better than the competition? Not necessarily. It does look impressive though!
