Measurements ToneWinner AD-PRO3

We measured the ToneWinner AD-PRO3+ with our Prism dScope III. We also checked how clean the power supply is with the Tekbox LISN and Picoscope 5000-series scope.

The results are downright good. In almost all areas they are. Promised power is achieved, so is distortion. Channel separation is particularly good, as is the noise floor, which stays below -110dB. We see very little ‘grass’. Good scores for an integrated amplifier.

Note: the noise graph is same measurement, but different scale (200mV and 1V). We see one noticeable bump there around 600 KHz. But it stays below -90dBu, which is not a problem.

Conclusion

What a nice surprise! The ToneWinner AD-PRO3+ not only shows neat measurement results, but also just sounds really good. We hear an open soundstage and a clean presentation of the music we feed the amp. Especially in Class A mode, we hear a very fine musical presentation. The d/a converter is fine, but not quite on par with the amp. We hope ToneWinner might be able to do something about that. Otherwise very fine device!
