This Saturday (10:00 (CEST)) we are going to test three compact and affordable streamers. The reason is that we get a lot of questions about streamers in this price range. We have the brand new Sonos Port, the Yamaha WXC50 and the Bluesound Node 2i. Maybe we’ll put the Metrum Acoustics Baby Ambre next to it for reference. Let us know if you would like that.Â
Streaming audio is great. It offers freedom and well… al lot of musical happiness! If we can play music in multiple rooms at the same time, it’s practically time for a party.
We get a lot of questions about the differences between Sonos, Bluesound, Heos and Yamaha. Sometimes they also throw Roon in the mix. Reason enough to collect some candidates. We put the Sonos Port next to the Bluesound Node 2i and the Yamaha WXC50. Unfortunately we we not able to get our hands on a Heos Link. There was no stock. It happens.
