Kenwood CR-ST100S streaming radio for there

It’s alway nice:  a modern streaming radio in more or less a classic design. In our opinion, the new Kenwood CR-ST100S will find a nice spot somewhere!

The Kenwood CR-ST100S is not only an FM- and DAB+ radio, but also effortlessly plays an extensive list of internet radio stations. Listen to stations from faraway places and dream away at sounds that you are less likely to hear on home stations.

The CR-ST100S also supports Spotify. Bluetooth is available for wireless streaming from your smartphone or tablet. And if you want to go lo-tech, there is a line output to connect the radio to a hi-fi system. Whether that will really be necessary? The built-in amplifier has a power of 2 x 10 watts and that’s more than enough to fill a kitchen, bedroom or hobby room with some solid sound.

Undok

For enthusiasts there is a USB connection available. So you can insert a USB stick with music files, or – again – play music from a smartphone. Furthermore, the Kenwood CR-STS100S is equipped with a TFT colour screen, where you can see information about the music being played. Control is via buttons on the device, the included infrared remote control or the Undok app, which is available for both iOS and Android.

Finally, the ‘radio’ can also be used as an alarm clock, including snooze function. Available from August, for an amount of €199. On the site of Kenwood itself the device can not yet be found, we found it in a message on Fairaudio.de.
