Auralic announces that its streamers are now compatible with Amazon Music Unlimited, which is good news for lovers of lossless streaming.
Amazon Music may be just a little less well-known in terms of name than its – well – more well-known competitors. But make no mistake: Amazon has a library of more than 75 million HD tracks. And we’re talking about at least 16 bit / 44.1 kHz. There are also 7 million Ultra HD tracks in stock, in a quality of up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. Such lossless streams are of course an excellent match for the “better hi-fi-sets”, such as the streamers from Auralic.
Lightning DS
Auralic streamers can play Amazon Music Unlimited from now, via their own app Lightning DS. In case you own one of the devices of this brand and you have an Amazon Music subscription (or would like to have), then the fun can start immediately.
