Innuos’ streamers, music servers and network players are now MQA Core certified, the Portuguese manufacturer announced.
The MQA compression format, which is still somewhat controversial for various reasons, is on the rise. Innuos announces that all its streamers, music servers and network players are now MQA Core certified. In practice, it means that the aforementioned devices from this manufacturer can now stream up to and including 24 bit / 96 kHz to non-MQA-capable DACs, and can deliver a maximum quality of 24 bit / 384 kHz to MQA render/decoder dacs. The MQA Core is available in the form of an update, which requires version 2.3 of the InnuOS operating system plus the Innuos Sense apps. There is no further cost.
