German audio manufacturer Inklang has released a firmware update for their speakers aimed at resolving recurring connectivity issues.
It’s always reassuring to see manufacturers addressing issues with firmware updates, and this time it’s Inklang taking the initiative. The update is available for their Ayers speakers and the HD 10 Stream Connect central unit. According to the company, identifying the root cause of the issue – frequent connection problems – required some time-consuming investigation. Eventually, it was discovered that the problems were being caused by interference from home automation devices such as smart lights, blinds, and other gadgets.
The new firmware update is designed to fix these connectivity issues, particularly those that occurred after devices had been in standby mode for an extended period.
A well-handled solution by Inklang – this is how it’s done!
