We tested the Technics SB-G90 floorstander on two systems: our reference system and the multi-channel setup. Purely to determine how these big guys hold up there. That turned out fine: they are obviously not very difficult to control. The reference system consists of:
- Pass Labs XP-12
- Bryston 4B SST3
- Metrum Acoustics Pavane
- Metrum Acoustics Ambre
- Grimm TPM / Audioquest NRG-1000 / Driade Flow cabling
The Cinema system consists of:
- Illusonic IAP-8 (also for measurements)
- B+K 7 channel power amplifier
- Art Speak speaker cables
- Art Speak Interlinks
